In a bowl (a ceramic one would be nice), fry 1/2 clove of garlic on 1/2 Tsp of oil (I use canola). Add a piece of chicken (about 60 - 80g), chopped, and season it with salt. Add 1 cup of water. Add 3 white carrots, after washing (I always use a brush) and chopping it (keep the skin on). Mix it well. Add 1 more cup of water and cook it for 15 minutes. Add the sliced spinach leaves. Cook it for more 5 minutes. It may be necessary to add more water and to cook it for longer. When the potatoes are nicely cooked, it´s done. Turn off the stove and mash the potatoes, making a purée. Add the shredded chicken. Finish it with 1tsp of butter (I don´t use margarine, has too much convservants) and mix it.
